summer has come though 

the smell of snow still 

lingers on his coat

and my bed-room is filled 

with memories of snowflakes

There are floodings in most parts of Burma due to heavy rain and poor sanitary and drainage system. It was so bad that the houses were flooded up to the roofs and strayed dogs had to stay on the roof to keep themselves alive.

this June
even dogs are allowed
on top of the roof

gushing rain
visits every house
in the town

no invitation
 the rain stayed in the house
almost a week

millions of
pots and pans, forks and fans
in mom’s kitchen

In a mess
unpacking the old house
in the new house

Life is
literally ups and downs
